Why is the company in the warranty supply?
All legal entities, who did not chose an independent energy supplier, are transferred to the warranty supply so as not to be left without electricity. This supply is provided by AB “Energijos skirstymo operatorius" (Energy Distribution Operator) (ESO).
Therefore, enterprises, paying for electricity to ESO, overpay for up to 25% for their electricity.
Why should I choose an independent supplier?
- In January, the State Energy Regulatory Council (VERT) started taking action to encourage companies to choose an independent energy supplier.
- According to point 51.2 of the Rules for the Supply and Consumption of Electricity to consumers, the warranty supply of electricity is ensured for no more than 6 months.

What will change if you choose an independent supplier?
- Declaration of consumption readings — will remain unchanged.
- Since the price of electricity consists of several components, i.e. electricity price + transfer price, you will receive an electricity bill from Enefit and an account for the forwarding service from ESO.
