If installing the charger on the wall of your house is not an option, it is possible to install the charger on a mounting post in a location of your choosing.
This comes with the requirement to secure its foundation and carry out extra work.
If you choose this option, we will make you a personalised offer depending on your requirements, including additional installation work.
We measure the distance from the electrical cabinet to the charger installation spot. The distance has to be measured on the wall, where the cable will be installed (and not the bird’s eye view).
Think where you’d like the charger and how you’d like the cable to connect to the electrical cabinet and estimate it’s distance. Normally, this falls under 10 metres.
However, if you think you might need extra, please mark otherwise. We can then make you a personalised offer and our technician is prepared to bring more electrical cable to the site on the installation day.
In the standard installation, we offer you the option to choose, whether the cable runs on the wall in a cable protection tube or a special cable box.
However, installing the cable inside the wall is not covered by the standard installation and this has to be requested separately and we will make you a personalised offer.
Usually, the charger is installed on the outside wall of the house, but the electrical cabinet is located inside the house. This means that to connect the cable, we need to drill a hole in the wall.
If you know that the wall of your house is very thick, please mark the option of above 50 cm so our technician knows to prepare.
Digging works are usually needed, when the charger is installed away from the house. Maybe in your dedicated parking space or on a charger mounting post.
Digging is not covered in the standard installation and we would need to make you a personalised offer, if the need arises.
